Skidplate (Lightweight) BMW F650 Funduro & Strada

The lightweight skidplate or bashplate is made from 4mm thick Aluminium. It fits all BMW F650 made between 1993 and 2000. (Funduro + Strada)

The specific alloy is EN AW 5754, which has great corrosion resistance, as it is often used in marine environments. I added radius in the corners to release stress from manufacturing.

The advantage of the lightweight version, is the additional airflow under the crankcase. Basically free engine cooling, so a great option if you ride a lot of hot dusty trails.

It provides suberb engine protection; I’ve seen clients balance their motorcycle on a treetrunk with my skidplate!

Stainless steel M8 mounting bolts/washers/locknuts are included.
